WRITTLE PARISH COUNCILJunior Parish Councillors
Writtle Parish Council continues its co-operation with the excellent infant and junior schools in the village. Continuing the tradition of appointing the children from both of the school councils to be Junior Parish Councillors, they wear their badges with pride. The council invites the Junior Parish Councillors to the parish office several times a year and they certainly tell the council what they like and dislike about the village. The councillors helped to design the playground in Paradise Road and chose some of the play equipment, creating a bright and fun area for children to enjoy.
Over the past couple of years both schools have also taken part in a poster competition on the theme of the summer fayre, which is held on and around the village Green.
