Further to our previous correspondence, we would like to provide you with an update concerning the bridge strengthening works at Lordship Culvert located on Cow Watering Lane, Writtle, Chelmsford.
We acknowledge concerns relating to the planned start date and on this occasion have been able to reschedule the works to commence the following week. Works are planned to start on Monday 26 October 2020 and expected to take one week to complete.
In order to support these works it will be necessary to close Cow Watering Lane at the junction with Lordship Road to all vehicles 24 hours a day for the duration of the works. A signed diversion route will be in place using the following roads: Lordship Road, Roxwell Road, Old Roxwell Road, Cow Watering Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained on Lordship Road at all times.
