Location

The Parish Office is located in the entrance to the public car park on the Green, next to Wear Pond. The public toilets are located on the end of the building.

Parish Office Opening Hours

Monday: 10.00am until Noon
Wednesday: 10.00am until Noon

These times are subject to staff availability. Meetings in the office outside these hours can be arranged by calling the Parish Clerk, 01245 420066.

Public Toilet Opening Hours

Monday to Sunday: 9.00am until 5.00pm

Please note that the toilets will be closed on Christmas Day

Hiring the Parish Office

We currently hire the Parish Office to a variety of community and commercial organisations. This includes a Hearing Help Clinic which is held on the 3rd Thursday of each month. (December’s date may be earlier due to staff annual leave).

The car park at Paradise Road and the surrounding playing fields are covered by CCTV. This is operated by Chelmsford City Council. Chelmsford City Council work in partnership with Essex Police and other bodies to ensure that Writtle is a safe and secure place.
